The Brighton Township Volunteer Fire Department (BTVFD) provides fire protection services to Brighton Township. All members serve strictly on a volunteer basis. 

 

The Department has three fire stations, Station No. 1 located on Dutch Ridge Road, Station No. 2 on Tuscarawas Road, and Station No. 3 located on Grange Road. The Department also has a Firemen’s Social Hall used for Department and community events. The Department also conducts fish fries at the Social Hall to raise funds for the Department. Training is conducted every Monday evening at Station No. 3. All men and women are invited to visit at that time if would like more information about joining. The Department has a Junior Firefighter program for those age 16 and 17.

 

Fish fries are held the first and third Fridays during the month -- EXCEPT -- every Friday during lent, the first Friday in June and the third Friday in August. No fish fries are held in July.

 

Fish Fry Menu:

 

Dinners include fish, fries, cole slaw or macaroni and cheese and roll. A beverage is provided if you are dining in.
