Heritage Valley Beaver
Formerly known locally as “The Medical Center,” the center is a 358-bed, comprehensive healthcare facility located about one mile from the center of Beaver, on Dutch Ridge Road in Brighton Township.
Heritage Valley Beaver is part of Heritage Valley Health System, a progressive community-based system serving southwestern Pennsylvania. In partnership with more than 500 physicians and nearly 4,000 employees, Heritage Valley offers a broad range of medical, surgical and diagnostic services at its two hospitals, community satellite facilities and in physician offices. Its affiliated physician groups include Tri-State Medical Group, Tri-State Obstetrics and Gynecology and Tri-State Pediatric Associates.
Heritage Valley Beaver has recently completed a $20 million building addition and renovation project. The new three-story building addition expanded the Emergency Department, GI Lab and shell space for future expansion. The renovation includes a future heart and vascular center, improved parking lot and a new main entrance to the hospital.
Nearby, the town of Beaver is a hub of diverse medical practices. The Beaver County Medical Society lists more than 60 local physicians providing a range of specialties.
Friendship Ridge
Friendship Ridge is a 589 bed, long & short term skilled rehabilitation/nursing facility located on a 96 acre campus in Brighton Township. The facility has served the residents of Beaver County and surrounding communities at its present site since 1959. The facility is owned and operated by the County of Beaver and provides high quality care, including rehabilitative and recreational activities for residents in a safe and secure environment.
